Sodbury Sportive 2022 - Event CancelledEntries for this year’s Saddleback Sodbury Sportive have been stubbornly slow coming in and have fallen well below pre-pandemic levels. Given all the financial pressures in society at present and the currently high residual levels of Covid, we don’t expect these numbers will improve, and so the Trustees of All-Chipping-In have decided that the 2022 Sportive is not financially viable in the current circumstances. We do not want to put on an event which falls short of all our expectations so, with deep regret, we have decided to call off the event now rather than incur further costs without the expectation of providing an acceptable return to all our charitable causes. This has been a very hard decision to make but we hope everybody will understand why it was made. Refunds will be available to all those that have already entered, information to follow shortly. We're planning for a full Sodbury Sportive 2022, the date is the 14th August 2022 and we have a new event HQ of Horton Village Hall (BS37 6QN) The new HQ is a great location for the event village providing a great atmosphere, lots of free parking and is only a 2.5 miles away from Chipping Sodbury
2022 will have 4 well marked routes providing a ride suitable for a wide range of fitness levels and goal aspirations. All routes have been designed carefully to provide a great ride in it's own right, nice roads and appropriate ascent for the distance. All routes have tasty food stops and mechanical backup. At the finish we'll welcome you home to the event village where you can enjoy some post ride food (included in the entry price), celebrate with a drink from the bar, while listening to live music.

The Sodbury Sportive 2022 is again run by volunteers with 100% of the profits donated to charities and good causes. If you would like to help or have any suggestions, please get in contact, we're always looking to improve your event.
The event starts just a couple of miles from the HQ of Saddleback, the exclusive importer of top high performance brands like Castelli, Sidi, and Enve. We are very grateful for the involvement of Saddleback who also help with the famous Fred Whitton Challenge and the Dartmoor Classic.
